Like lots of folks around here, I've been riding bikes for about as long as I've been walking. My first bike was a super snazzy, bright-blue, banana seat Huffy.
As a kid, I used to ride that bike in the 80 acres of woods behind my house in Michigan, and I destroyed it on a daily basis. That's how I learned to fix bikes. And that's how I learned I loved mountain biking.
Now, after more than thirty years and thousands of miles on mountain and road bikes, I tend to log more miles riding around town and commuting to work than burning up a trail. I decided that my trips to work or the grocery store or the hockey rink would be a whole lot easier if I had a cargo trailer. And since I've been working metal and welding for about ten years, I headed out to the shop and built one. And then another for my girl. And another for a friend.
People seem to like 'em, so I just keep building 'em. If you're interested in chatting about bikes or the Greenbeard theory or anything else, just let me know!
